New research will provide evidence of pathways taken

New research being conducted by the Collaborative for Research and Training in Youth Health and Development and supported by Community Colleges New Zealand, Unitec, the YMCA, and Ako Aotearoa will provide evidence of the longer-term pathways for young people who have been students on the Government’s fees-free Youth Guarantee programme.

Success at Hairdressing Championships

The Southland Regional Hairdressing Competition was held on 19 July 2015. Three of Southland Community College's students (Sinead, Dolly and Kaleb) along with their models have worked extremely hard; putting in early morning starts and out of course time in preparation for this competition. Congratulations to Sinead who was awarded 2nd in the Novice Styling First Year caetgory.
