We are NZQA Category One
At ComCol we are passionately committed to helping our students achieve success with their qualifications and providing a supportive learning environment to help them realise their potential

In May 2016, we achieved a Category One status by NZQA, and this endorses our sustained commitment to our students.
Category One is the highest rank achievable in the External Evaluation and Review (EER) process, and is acknowledgement from NZQA of the excellent standards at ComCol, and places the organisation amongst the best quality education providers in New Zealand.

The quality of Comcol's education programmes has been formally recognised in 2016 by NZQA, awarding us the status of Category One education provider (highest rating in New Zealand).

What does Cateory One mean?
Category One is the highest rank achievable in NZQA’s External Evaluation and Review process, and is acknowledgement from NZQA of the excellent standards at ComCol, and places ComCol amongst the best quality education providers in New Zealand.

What is an External Evaluation Review?
The External Evaluation and Review is conducted on all non-university tertiary education organisations in order to provide quality assurance to all stakeholders and to guarantee improving standards across the tertiary education sector as a whole.

NZQA carried out an External Evaluation and Review process on ComCol in March 2016.  This process consisted of a multi-day visit by an external evaluation team, which assessed the extent to which ComCol delivers quality and value to learners and the community, and evaluated how ComCol uses self-assessment to understand performance and bring about continual improvement.

What is NZQA's final review rating of ComCol?

Highly Confident in Education Performance of ComCol

Highly Confident in Capability in Self-Assessment of ComCol
